felt.

Before the massage

We'll start with a conversation about what you're bringing, what you'd like to leave behind. If you'd rather write than talk or want to maximise your time on the table, I can email you a form to complete.

The session itself

The structure is deliberate... almost ceremonial. It begins with a sarong draped over you — a way of marking the start, slowing the pace, and bringing you into your body. From there the work follows what you and your body tells me it needs.

Clothing & oils

You'll undress to the degree that feels right for you, at that moment — you can change your mind at any time, and any clothing that you want to keep on can be worked around. If you have a nut allergy or sensitive skin, say so when you book and I'll use an oil that suits you. If you'd rather not get oil in your hair just let me know and I'll avoid the scalp.

Afterwards

The ending is given the same care and attention as the beginning — excess oil is gently wiped from the skin, there'll be time to talk through anything that came up, and time to land again at your own pace. Water, tea, and a hug if that's feel good for you.

Your time

The time you book is our time together, from arriving to leaving. The conversation at the start and the landing at the end are part of the session. If you know you can take a while to settle, booking a longer session makes sense. As I work from home and there's unfortunately nowhere to wait, so please arrive as close to the start as you can, ideally no more than five minutes early.

Paying

Payment is by bank transfer or cash.

If you need to cancel

Give me as much notice as you can — a day or more and we'll simply find you another time.

Health conditions

Tell me when you book if you're pregnant, recovering from surgery or injury, being treated for cancer, or managing a heart condition, blood clots or anything else significant — we'll shape the session around it, and occasionally I'll ask you to check with your GP first. Sessions are for adults (18+).

Getting here

Sessions happen at my home studio in the Cann Hall area of south Leytonstone. The 58 bus will take you straight to my door and I'm five minutes' walk from the 69 and 257 stops. It's 25 minutes' walk from Leytonstone tube (Central line), 22 from Forest Gate (Central line), 21 from Wanstead Park (Suffragette line), 17 from Leytonstone High Road and 17 from Maryland (Elizabeth line). Visitor parking permits are available if you're driving.
